Family dinner on a Friday night.

But no, I didn't cook any of these dishes, not because I didn't know how, but because I came home late from work. (No seriously, I did came home late!)

It was actually Mom & SIL who cooked these dishes.

Craving for Nasi Lemak

It just looks mouthwatering, isn't it?

Though sadly to say, the taste didn't quite match up to how it looks, which is very disappointing.

The fried chicken wings were too hard, the chilli sauce which was poured over it tasted funny, the fried anchovies were too salty, and the 'sambal' was just too spicy that it overpowered and ultimately numbed my tongue in the end.

Too bad.
